Man, I'm not trying to be a hater by any means. I've seen the glowing reviews on Reddit. I went to UT in the 90s and lived in various places on both coasts after and moved back after multiple years in Houston. I gotta say my single visit to Little Deli, where I tried both the pizza and the pastrami sandwich, was mid (as they say now) at best. I don't know if I caught them on a bad day or if the collective Austin palate is just jacked from lack of good food. Maybe I will try it again. Just sayin'
How do you go a whole review without mentioning America vs. Leon? It's their best pizza! And it's named for a Liga MX rivalry, which at least a small sliver of your readership will understand ...
I love this place! I was visiting my daughter in Austin and she took me there. From the outside I had really low expectations, but I was blown away by the food.
I've never been more anxious to read a review than this one. I was afraid that I would have to discount any future EvilMoPac reviews if this one didn't turn out well. My faith in Evil MoPac has been preserved, and our 'secret' pizza and salad spot gets the recognition it deserves.
Little Deli is in my top 3 pizza places. As a transplant from NYC their pizza hits the mark. Their subs are also delish. And best dessert black and white cookies
Thank you lol My younger brother needs to move in with me (our grandpa just died.) He loves pizza and this will give us something to try and pick him up some. I really do appreciate these posts.

It's a very cool, niche aspect...I go very broad.
I went here back before it had pizza and it was still amazing 💞

It's so understated and not even a lick of black and white paint with metal everywhere as seems mandatory on every new Austin restaurant since 2019
a staple for us for decades. 💕
whenever you see the crazy magnet covered cyberbeast parked out front, that is us. 😉 💕🔋⚡️

Not disappointing someone is a new look for me

It's #1 out of my two reviews so far, but I suspect it will remain very high relative to others given its score
Honestly, thank you for these reviews.
I do the hard work so you don't have to!

Little Deli is awesome. I live downtown so I don’t get there often, but when I do, it’s always outstanding.
It beats driving on 35, which isn’t nearly as nice as YOU!
Hey, you're not too far. Imagine living in far SW Austin
That’s true. And I do take the red line train up sometimes.
Lucky that Austin's only train is in range
